March - Goals Review

This year I have several annual goals (posted below) and am setting monthly goals to get me to the annual goals and have a little fun along the way. Here is an update on my March goals. It was a fairly good month overall, especially considering we brought our infant son home from the hospital February 28. 

  • Read at least three chapters of Ephesians - Done.
  • Read Philippians 1-2 - Done.
  • Read/Listen to all Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus during the month - Done.
  • Read at least one chapter of another book - Mostly done, missed about 5-7 days.
  • Take Fish Oil, Magnesium, Vitamin C, Zinc, and Probiotics - Done.
  • Drink Celsius energy drink - Done. Missed one day.
  • Drink 1 gallon of water - Did not complete. 50% success.
  • Eat 3 eggs+spinach for breakfast or fast (optional protein shake) - Done.
  • Eat only one serving or a protein shake for lunch and dinner - Did not complete. 25% success.
  • Eat only hard-boiled egg or raw vegetables for snacks between meals - Mostly done.
  • Eat fruit only in protein shake at breakfast/lunch/dinner or when preparing for workout - Done.
  • Generally avoid bread, rice, pasta, and simple carbs - Mostly done.
  • Complete one-day fast - Done.
  • March 31 - Weight at 158 - Failed.
  • Do some form of exercise - Done.
  • 20 Days completing workout routine - Done.
    • 3 minutes - plank
    • 2 minutes - hanging from bar
    • 150 push-ups
    • Complete Weight-training / Stretching / Cardio workout

Yearly 252 Goals with Updates
1. Spiritual: Memorize the first two chapters of Philippians.
2. Physical: Complete a Half-Ironman in under 5 hours.
3. Relational: Eat a one on one meal with each of my sons and my wife at least once a month. 
4. Intellectual: Write a reflection post here each week.
